Malcolm McLeod

Coach Malcolm McLeod graduated from Chapin High School in 2004, where he was a 4-Year letterman and a member of two state championship teams. He then received a Bachelors Degree from Lander University where he was also a 4-year letterman for the Bearcats.
 

Coach McLeod is entering his 7th season with the Diamond Devils, with experience as a coach at the collegiate and high school levels. He spent one year as an assistant at Young Harris College (2009-10) and joined the Chapin High School coaching staff in 2010, where he has served as the B-Team head coach since 2011. Since joining the Chapin High Coaching Staff, McLeod has been a part of a state championship (2018), and a team that finished ranked #11 in the nation during the COVID shortened season of 2020. 


McLeod is married to his wife, Laura, and they have a son, Mac (3), and a Great Dane, Peyton.
