Matt Hill is a Columbia, SC native, and a Ridge View High School graduate.  Following high school, Hill attended Presbyterian College where he played baseball for four years. This will be his 13th season with Diamond Devils, and he has coached at every age group but has coached 14U for the last 7 summers.

Along with teaching, Hill also coached high school baseball and/or football for the last 10 years in Richland School District Two at Spring Valley High School, but will now be coaching baseball and football at Fountain Inn High School in Greenville, SC. 

When Hill is not teaching or coaching, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Hill and his wife, Kelly, have been married for 3 years and have a beautiful little girl, Sadie, who will be two this August.
